Disabled people and supporters walk to the compound of the Administrative Court to file complaints against City Hall for failing to provide disabled-friendly access to the BTS Green electric train line network. Chanat KatanyuRepresentatives of disabled rights activists groups Wednesday filed 430 complaints to the Administrative Court demanding each case be financially compensated 1,000 baht per day for City Hall's failure to provide disabled-friendly access to the BTS Green electric train line network. About 100 supporters of the move travelled to the court in Chaeng Watthana, several of whom were wheelchair-bound, blind or had other physical or mental disabilities. A statement earlier released by the BTSC said that all of its 36 stations -- including the Sukhumvit Line's 23 and the Silom Line's 13 stations -- have lifts built in them. Saphan Taksin and Sala Daeng stations, however, lack ground-floor lifts.
